2K Epoxy Primer

This versatile 2K epoxy primer filler is designed for challenging surfaces like metal, non-ferrous metal, galvanized steel, and anodized aluminum. It boasts exceptional adhesion and corrosion protection, even on critical surfaces like aluminum. The primer offers a smooth flow, outstanding insulation and sealing properties, and can be recoated with standard solvent- or water-borne basecoats or single-stage topcoats. It's intended for cleaned and sanded surfaces. Key details include a 5-minute flash-off time, overcoatable in 15 minutes to 12 hours at 68F, and a 12-hour drying time at 68F (or 30 minutes at 120F with an infrared device). Sanding is recommended using 'Wet / Dry' paper (P 400 - 500 or P 800 - 1200). The primer has a 4-day pot life at 68F and requires 2-3 spray passes, each at 1.2-1.4 mil.
